This documentary goes deep into the manufacture and uses of the samurai swords produced about 600 years ago in Japan. The main samurai´s sword was the katana, a curved long sword used by the Japanese military from the 17th century.
The samurais believed that their swords where a representation of their souls and for this reason they considered them as living entities. Apart from the creation of the sword´s blades, the documentary will also show some traditional sword fighting at a samurai academy.
